CompEd, Inc. is a Kentucky non-profit corporation organized to conduct workers compensation seminars and to further the educational endeavors of practitioners, claims adjustors, risk management specialists, paralegals, rehabilitation coordinators, and representatives of management and labor.

On June 4th-5th, 2009, we presented our 18th Annual Workers Compensation Seminar. We are making this program available through the Internet for purchase and viewing on any computer by September 30th at www.dbs-webinars.com. This program has been approved by the Kentucky Bar Association for CLE credits.

Since 1992, the corporation has published an annotated version of the statutes and Regulations of the Office of Workers Claims. The 2009 edition (including CD-Rom) will be published and available in November, 2009.

The profits of this corporation's activities are donated to organizations that service or benefit the practitioner's of workers compensation. Over the years, CompEd has provided funds for the workers’ compensation section of the KBA and over $460,000.00 in scholarships for the three law schools of Kentucky.
